"Grampa Tom H" (gosh, saying that makes me feel old) has contributed a new video. Once again, the production qualities are exceeded only by the quality of the talent he hired to perform in this presentation.

Got a Light? Keeping it Under a Basket? You KNOW who you are, don't you!!!! No time like the present to lift that basket and let a little light out into the world. We hope you like the words, the music, the movies and pictures that appear here from time to time. The only problem is that there are so many of us, and so few pictures, so few words, so little music. Go to the Upload Form and submit your own pictures, movies, music and stories.
Thanks in advance.

Word Crafters Peter James has offered his poem, Evergreen, to inaugurate a new feature for the family website. Evergreen was recently published in his college literary magazine. Rumor has it Jim's working on a novel next. As the collection grows (and that IS a hint), we'll add a place for the work of the other word crafters among us.

The
Thanksgiving Dance. November 2008. Grover Reunion July, 2005 Kiya Is Two Party with us now* Too Cute For Words This one plays right in the web page, and no delays. Let's get Tom to tell us how he did it. Grandma Anagene's Bedford Years These are images from Uncle Jack's collection. The Fridge Door These are images were contributed by family members. Dear Hearts and Gentle People Emma contributed this one. |
Skaficionado's Pirate DownloadOkay, so you're nobody in the music world until someone pirates your music. With that in mind here's my pirated contribution to the success of David's band. I picked Bigger partly because I like, but also because it has David's trumpet solo in it.
Please download this one before you try to play it. The file is huge and probably won't stream for you. Right mouse-click the link and do a "SAVE AS" for the file. David Russell Hepworth's first sonata: The Sonata of Sorrow Rumor has it the next one is going to be longer.

by Peter Brotherton How
does one stay evergreen?
But caution still I would advise
To learn it though, I'll toss you in
To Beauty I will give my love

*It takes several minutes to buffer enough of the clips to start direct playback on a broadband connection, so don't lose patience.
It takes a few more minutes to download the entire clips on a broadband connection so you can play them later. Downloads take much longer on a dialup connection. However you go about it, though, the results are well worth it; you'll see.
